The UNREAL Campaign helps young consumers make smart and informed purchasing decisions today and in the future. As young people become active in commerce, especially online, we want them to understand what’s behind the products they buy. Targeting ages 14 to 23, the Campaign raises awareness about the importance of trademarks and brands, and the risks of counterfeit products. We connect with youth through engaging presentations at schools, events, online platforms, and social media.By highlighting the links between fake goods and health risks, organized crime, job losses, and economic harm, we show how brand owners work to protect both their rights and consumers. Since 2012, with the support of the UNREAL Campaign Committee and volunteers, we have reached over 100,000 students across more than 60 countries. Join us in encouraging young consumers to say “no” to fake” and help promote the value of what’s real.
