A classical cellular automaton consists of a grid of cells whose states update according to a fixed local rule. In this talk, this classical framework is generalized by incorporating uncertainty in the state of each cell, yielding a new framework we call "Cellular Automata on Probability Measures". An application to pollution diffusion modelling is explored.
